If you would have asked me 15 years ago...is it possible to treat my ailments from the inside out? I would have responded "not sure". Well I'm here to tell you that while in my 40's I'm the healthiest, energized mother of one thanks to Dr. Portnoy. My 17 year also shares her experiences and results with her teenage friends and are truly amazed. Dr. Portnoy keeps an open mind while tailoring the specific treatment protocols for her patients on an individual basis. One thing I realized is that the damage we've done to our bodies did not happen over night, so I could not expect to have my symptoms relieved/cured that way either. I know I will always be a chiropractic patient for the overall good of my health.‎

The adjustments at this office take place on a pneumatic bench that thrusts your pelvic region up over and over again while you are lying face down -- there is not the "usual" or "normal" adjustments of lying on each of one's sides, face down, and having your spine and neck checked and adjusted. I found the technique used in this office to not be not as effective as other chiropractors I've been to, all of which used the traditional adjustment techniques. I also did not especially like the electromagnetic "therapy" I received prior to seeing the chiropractor. It was totally ineffective and unnecessary. It seemed as though the only purpose it actually served was to add more money to my bill. Last but not least, I would like to mention that I did not especialy like the doctor all that much either. Last but not least, I would like to mention that I did not especialy like the doctor all that much either. It seemed as though this was the type of office that wanted to see as many individuals per day as they possibly could. Additionally, the doctor's personal attention and interest in me was severely lacking, not to mention her pushy personality to encourage me to keep coming back for multiple treatments.

All and all, I would not recommend this chiropractor.
