Alpha Dog is the greatest place to shop for yourself, your friends and your pets if you don't want to go to a national chain pet store where it is impersonal and boring. ADOC has organic food, interactive toys, some green toys, really unique gifts and home accessories. In this day and time when there are so many pet stores popping up on every corner, I have yet to see a store keep so many fun, different things. The employees are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. I will continue to shop there as long as I have my pets, or as long as my friends and family have theirs! I have been to ADOC twice. The first time was an okay experience. The merchandise was nice, although nothing I haven't seen before, but the service was lacking. On the second occassion, the service was downright rude. I walked around the entire store twice and the two people working there never said a word to me (and the shop is small). I was so offended that I left and went to the Three Dog Bakery a few blocks down King St.

The shop isn't good enough for such an ignorant lack of attention.

Alpha Dog Omega Cat is a unique shop in downtown Charleston that carries all the unique gifts and accessories for every pet lover. They carry a full range of jewelry and accessories for you and for your pet, as well as for home decoration. It is the place to go when you are the type of person who loves to pamper your pet with his own jewelry and furniture and special toys and trinkets. Much of the things are handmade and fun and unique.
