The art is great. The staff - well - not so much. I know that we generally give artists a little more leeway in terms of behavior, but walk into this shop and - well, expect the unexpected. Anyway, the art is great

Almont features 18 local artists. They have paintings in all media, sculpture, glass ware, fused glass, furniture, pottery, photography, stained glass and so much more. The jewelry there is beautiful and really affordable. Whenever I need a gift, I can always find something special. The artists who show at the gallery also work there, so if I have a question there is someone to talk to about the art. It is a lot of fun to visit the gallery during the 5 Art Crawls in Waukesha every year. There is live music, good food and lots of other galleries to shop at. Almont is a very good place to commission artwork. With so many artists to choose from, you can find someone to paint whatever you can think of. Almont is a one of the friendliest galleries around.
