I volunteer with the Contra Costa SPCA and have taken numerous animals to All Bay for illness and routine vet care. My foster animals have been seen by Dr. Bedros and Dr. Lentz and I have found them both to be competent, caring doctors. The office staff are also caring and professional; I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a vet in the Concord area.

I just had to write to set things straight when I read those 2 negative reviews. I love this hospital and all that they do. I have been going there for years with all my pets and not once have I ever seen or recieved anything but exceptional care. All you have to do is go once to see that they truly do care. They always give an estimate and explain everything very thoroughly. If they find something unexpected while in their hospital, they call you and explain what they found and what it will cost to treat it. They let you make all the decisions and I have never felt pressured to do anything that I couldn't afford. Drs Lentz and Bedros have each been there for over 20 years and the rest of the staff have been there nearly as long. They are like a family and I love them dearly since they have helped to make my beloved pets lives long and enjoyable. I wish my own doctor would treat me and my family as well as they have. I hope this helps anyone reading this see around the bogus compaints the other people have given but I guarantee you that if you give them a try, you too will understand why I am so grateful for their always compassionate and professional services.

I am sorry, I took my pet to this Hospital. They lie about much it will actually cost to treat my cat's leg. And even when I told them that I was unemployeed they did extra dental work on my pet without asking me if I agree to pay, the worst part is that this was not the reason I took my pet to this horrible, unethical, money hungry hospital.

PS I agree with siennadawn, they just want your money.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Doctors professional and explained all very thoroughly. Their hospital is clean and everyone seemed to care a lot. My dog has some serious problems that the vet was able to explain so I could understand what I need to do to keep him happy. His medication seems to have helped a lot. I would definately recommend this Vet Hospital to anyone who needs a vet.

I have used All Bay animal hospital to treat my dogs and cats for the most part since Nov 1984. I lived in Concord in the past, now I live in Oakley. I have continued to commute from Oakley to Concord with my pets for treatment because after trying two vets locally I wasn't as satisfied. Dr. Lentz has done surgery on Ash my 13 yr. old lab ?at cost? when I couldn?t afford to pay more. His thoughtfulness was appreciated. Dr. Bedros is the veterinarian that I have been using more recently, and he is professional, very knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. He presents the situation, gives me options, & lets me make the decision in a supportive manner. Thank you for many years of excellent service to me and my son for the care of our beloved past and present pets.
In fact, we have also owned horses. One of our equestrian friends has goats in Clayton, and has used Dr. Bedros, an All Bay veterinarian for livestock.
