Alisos Animal Hospital is a professional veterinarian in Mission Viejo. I take my dogs there for a yearly check up. Thank goodness we haven't needed them for an emergency, but its nice to know a pet hospital has our dogs records.

I am a former employee of Dr. Bahou. I was terminated from my job at Alisos Animal Hospital and even still, I must admit that Dr. Bahou is a wonderful veterinarian. Not only does he have the special one on one touch with animals who seem to take to him very quickly but he truly loves them with all his heart. As an employee there have been plenty of times when Dr. Bahou has asked me for his advice as far as what to charge clients and if he was being fair.He has always reinforced the principles of honesty to me, something which I have inherently been taught by my parents as well. Hence it was easy to relate to Dr. Bahou when he wanted to do the right thing for every animal that stepped foot (paw) in his office. I can only judge Dr. Bahou in this review based on his skills and empathy as a Veterinarian. The same cannot be said about his judgment skills about his staff. Dr. Bahou does not have good judgement when it comes to honoring and supporting his staff. Valuable employees are often overlooked, misunderstood and terminated. This is what happened to me.This is why there is so much turnover. However I am eternally grateful to Dr. Bahou for his generous referrals and positive recommendations to his long time clients about me. His willingness to share his business with me always made me proud. Dr. Bahou is the reason I was able to launch my petsitting business.Despite my current circumstances;specifically the fact that I live paycheck to paycheck and this termination has offset my plans temporarily, I am still a firm believer in God and I still have nothing but the best wishes for Dr. Bahou and his career with animals. Dr. Bahou thrives because he gives back to his clients always.

Dr. Bahou, or Dr. Dave to those of us who visit him frequently is the most caring and skilled Veterinarian that I have ever known. Two years ago we moved to Mission Viejo and needed to find a new Vet. We were treating one of our cats who had severe allergies and needed a shot everyday. I had run out of needles and stopped by Alisos Animal Hospital hoping to be able purchase some. Dr. Dave was there when I came in and he not only just gave me the needles I needed, but talked to me a little about my cat. I didn't even realize that he was the Vet until later - but his kindness and concern stuck with me.

A year ago we added a Pug puppy to our family - our first dog. To say that we were nervous and over-reactive parents is an understatement. Dr. Dave has become a caring and dedicated friend to both us as well as our animal children. He doesn't overtreat and always adds a big dose of genuine affection to his care. Our pug, Sweetpea, thinks that going to the Vet is a huge treat and always receives pets and compliments from the whole staff. We can't recommend him highly enough.

It is very obvious that Dr. Bahou just loves animals and just wants to help them out. He definitely does not do this for the money. He only recommends things that are necessary unlike other corporate owned places that pushes for all kinds of things. If your pet gets treated by Dr. Bahou, your pet will be in good hands. Not only is he a pet lover, he knows what he's doing. Tons of experience. His staff is always very friendly and very knowledgeable as well. I absolutely support this business 110%.

Dr. Bahou is a very caring vet and his staff is very helpful. He has been great with our animals and very conscious of the costs of caring for your animals. He only suggests doing what is absolutely necessary if there are concerns or conditions that need attention to your animal. Their prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a vet, that you give Dr. Bahou a call.
