So this is my THIRD time going to this store- honestly I was ready to purchase a dress that day! When I walked in the sales clerk looked me up and down looked at the clerk next to her and smirked, then told me to "hold on." When she finally got around to helping me she wanted me to sit down and look at the catalog. Her name was RAMONA so I hope you don't get her. So while flipping through the pages she told me to point to the ones I liked which kind of seemed like a waste of time to me. But whatever so here we go, picked out a few and the girl snidely says "oh welll that one doesn't come in a size bigger than a 10" and I said "OK". FUTURE BRIDES: Go to Venturas!!!! This is the worst bridal store ever, I dont recommend anyone or bride to go here what so ever! They will lie, mislead you, and completely rip you off. I purchased my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from this store. ilene the assistant manager and sales lady Jackie are LIARS. The dress i purchased was a size 10 i needed a 2 to 4. We were going to go to another Alfred Angelo store, they had the same dress but in a size 8 which meant less alterations for me, both of those ladies assured me that since i needed alterations I should just buy the dress there. Both said that alterations were 1 flat fee no matter how much needed to be done, ilene even went as far to say "i will get it down in writing for you" She handed me a paper saying it would be $137 all together. I was then told to come in 3 weeks prior to my wedding for the alterations and fitting. I did just that and before leaving was charged $480 dollars for alterations and an additional $30 rush fee so it would be ready in time!! When i was told to come in at that time! The manager looked at me like I was crazy when i said that ilene and jackie said it was one flat fee for alterations he then showed me that the alterations go by hours of work!! Alterations were actually going over what they were allowed to charge me for. If it wasn't for the fact that my wedding was 3 weeks away with my dress half paid for, I would not have purchased a single thing from them, when i went in for my final fitting, I had slightly bent over to put on my wedding shoes and the top hook above the zipper broke, the alteration lady said that it was not a big deal, it was only a hook and it just "came undone" she didn't bother saying it had actually broke! She didnt even care because she was in such a rush to leave! wedding day comes along and i find the broken hook, on top of that it caused my beading to unravel along the back of my dress! i spent half the night pulling up my dress. As for my bridesmaid dresses, Jackie ordered 3 of the dresses 2 sizes too big!! She ordered them size 4-6 for "size 2" girls!! Another dress was ordered too small (knowing that bridesmaid was pregnant and would be 8 months on the wedding) Jackie was even asked to please order her a size bigger and she did not! The only bridesmaid who did get the correct size was there to make sure the right size was ordered! After trying on the size 8 dress and watching it fall right off her they tried ordering her that very size!! Not to mention she was then given attitude and rude service for deciding to order the smaller size. These people are ridiculous! I cant believe they would purposely do these things to customers. The bridesmaid dresses were $200 dresses, why would they want to pay you $200 more dollars for alterations when you screwed up their sizes and orders from the beginning! This store is so unprofessional! As for the owner you need to start by firing your manager, your assistant manager, AND your sales lady Jackie. Can you not see all the reviews are BAD!!

Alfred Angleo was horrible: I was very upset with this store. I have seven bridesmaids and one flowergirl, everyone was measured and fitted at this location and everyone has to have major alterations done to their dress. I spook with the manager about this and she completely blew me off. I would never recommend anyone to shop here, EVER!!!

Poor service: I went to my appointment at this shop and received very poor service. I was the only person in the shop with three sales ladies and I STILL had to wait on myself. I will not shop here again, I would rather get married in a trash bag!
