Decent food, oppressive atmosphere
This place is really convenient to my apartment, and I would like to give it a better rating. It's in a converted house, and the renovation was very nicely done. I think it may have started as a coffee/dessert shop, but its aspirations grew. They serve sandwiches, salads, and griddle items. The food is really not bad, but it is so outrageously crowded that the whole thing is ruined. It feels like the Tokyo subway inside. Outside, although there is a nice patio, you have to be willing to throw elbows to get a table. They now have a table busboy who is supposed to seat you in order, but that system does not seem to be working too well. Even ordering food to-go can be a hassle.
Crowded day and night. Not worth it to me anymore. There are other good places to eat with fewer aspiring Hollywood types.
