Didn't try any food, but this is a brewing company, so who cares?

All the beers I tasted were well made, but in Portland, you have to bring it harder than that.

The two exceptional beers were the Black Bear XX Stout, which they've been doing well for a long time, and the El Torero IPA.

I've tried to find an organic IPA that really stands out, and props to Alameda -- this is the first. It's big and tasty with a great finish. Really interesting beer that makes you forget about the organic part and has you focusing on what great tastes they've captured.

The surrounding restaurant is really nice, and their menu looked great -- would like to go back and sample some fare.

My husband and I went into the Alameda Brewhouse for the first time recently and I was pleasantly surprised! They have a huge menu, and really great drinks. The only problem was our waitress had B.O. really bad! Would go back, just hoping we don't get the same server.

I have recommended this pub to friends in the past, but have been disappointed in my last visits. Ordered a hamberger medium rare, it came medium/done. I asked to substitute a salad for fries and was charged $3 extra for a very, very small salad. The burger and bread were very dry. However, the beer as always was excellent.

Me and my Husband went there the other night and it was amazing! we were in and out in 45Min with a great meal and Drinks! The price was pretty good too. the service was fast and very polite..

The Alameda Brew House is an awesome place to eat. From the outside you might not think it was the greatest place, but let me tell you, it was a great place.
