This is a charming Japanese restaurant, my boyfriend and I went there last week during a week night and it was not very busy, so we enjoyed a quiet dinner. We ordered several rolls, edamame and it was my first time drinking sake. We ordered cold sake and it was brought to our table inside a small and cute container with ice, it was very good, a bit more potent that wine but less than tequila or hard liquor. It was easy to take the shots, we had a brand called Ozeki Nigori Unfiltered Sake.

Our dinner was overall very pleasant, the service was great, the food was ready quickly and it tasted very good. There was ample parking and the restaurant was easy to find.

I eat here often, service is great sushi is better!

The Sushi bar is an excellent place to dine. Not only is the Sushi great but the chef's are very personable and fun to talk to. Their sushi rolls are very good and they have a big variety. My favorite is the seared albacore.

I was strongly opposed to Sushi when my dad reccomended Akitas. The first time I went, I did not eat 'the sushi' but had some battered veggies and chicken teriaki. This place changed my whole perspective on sushi. It became my local favorite and I still reccommend it to everyone. Enjoy!

Visited Akita for their advertised "all you can eat sushi" special. Found out they are 5 months into new ownership. The "all you can eat" menu is smaller than the regular sushi menu. And the ad should read "all you can eat rice" as they basically try to fill you up with rice. More than double the amount of rice on properly made sushi. As such, could not enjoy the meal as I almost gagged a number of times. You already have a 1 hour time limit and a reduced menu. They should at least make the sushi properly. This is not a "special" it is a SCAM.
