I had to take my older cat into Dr. Brockways office years ago with very strange symptoms. He was walking funny and grinding his teeth. Dr. knew right away that he had gotten into something poison, possible his food. He treated him and allowed me to stay in the back with him for hours. The Dr. checked on him repeatedly. I asked to take him home and Dr said it was up to me to take him home and keep him a quite small room and to call if it got worse. He sent me with needles filled with water to hydrate him with every hour. By morning my cat was fine. He lived another 7 years to the great age of 18 years. He is my vet now with more animals and always will be.

Word of mouth is the best advertisement!!!!!!!!!
I was a client there about 3 yrs ago and overheard Dr. Brockway yelling at the receptionist who was very sweet and knew the patients very well, she was very young but she knew her job and the clients. I soon found out she left the practice when I asked about her the next time i came in to the facility. I stopped taking my animals there after this because why would you want to give someone that has no consideration for his employees? Imagine how they would treat your animals!

I did not like this vet for many reasons. They over charge and I know this because I worked for many years at an animal hospital until recently. The receptionists were very rude and condescending at times and at other times act as if they do not have a clue what they are doing. The doctor himself comes across as very nice, but I found out he isn't! I thought he was being represented wrongly by his incompetent staff, but in fact, they were right on! He is as immature and rude as his receptionists.

I think this a good animal hospital with good knowledgable doctors. My cat was very sick and we could not figure out why, they took her in and made her feel very comfortable and ran tests until they cam eup with a diagnosis, which was correct. they answered my questions, let me know they would be on call if I had anymore emergencies.

When I first moved to Pasco County I didn't have a veterinarian for my cat. I really had no idea of who to use. I looked in the yellow pages and phoned this one.
I took my cat in, in the morning, and they spade him. Later in the day I picked him up. They did a great job for me.
I did change vets later on, as I found one almost on my doorstep.
PROS: Did what I asked.
CONS: A little too far away for me.
