Michael will straighten you out!
It might take a few sessions of near torturous pain (he claims that he can do less intense therapies as well), but he fixed my chronic shoulder injury, and I feel great. I return occasionally, viewing it as preventive maintenance.

Moschel saved me money and time
As a former classically trained dancer I had incurred a few "silent " injuries that one day started yelling at me. After consulting specialists, physical therapy and bodyworkers that accepted my insurance plan it was obvious to me that I was being strung along until my hip and groin pain became a hip replacement.
Fortunately, I was recommended to Michael Moschel and took the chance of paying completely out of pocket.
Since I have been a bodyworker for over 20 years I have yet to meet anyone in the New York area who understand injury repair, prevention and retraining of the tissues. He is one of the major reasons I am walking and more functional than when I met him. He was a major part of my healing plan.

MIchael enabled me to continue to work and be out of pain. He is worth every penny.

Amazing Physical Therapist
I lived in pain before I began physical therapy with Michael Moschel. An injury to my left hip made the daily routine of walking not only painful but a source of anxiety and frustration.

Although the therapy was painful, after the first two sessions Michael made a vast improvement on my injury. By the third session, I hardly felt any pain while Michael worked on me. I knew I was on my way towards better physical health. In addition to my hip, Michael helped strengthen and straighten my back, neck and shoulders, and alleviated pain from an old knee injury.

I highly recommend Michael Moschel to anyone who is experiencing pain with their body. He has a vast knowledge and understanding of the human anatomy and will work with any individual to treat his or her needs. His approach not only helps treat immediate physical problems, it educates patients to prevent physical ailments in the future.

Michael Moschel helps anyone become better physically and mentally. Thanks to him, not only do I have relief from pain, I no longer feel emotionally trapped because of it. I am forever grateful to Michael as a very special person?whose gift is to help those suffering from pain.

Success when all else failed
Worked when all else failed

I'd had years of multiple physical therapists and chiropractors and hundreds of massages when I came to Michael, who has helped me more than anyone. I'm usually pain-free these days, after decades of having either back, arm, or neck pain nearly all the time. Michael is also a down-to-earth sympathetic listener whose presence will encourage your optimism and belief in your power to get well.

Relive your pain from chronic issues or sports injuries
I have been going to Michael for 5+ years and had prior experience with Rolfing and Structural Integration therapy. His knowledge, technique, and thoroughness are the best I have experienced. I have some chronic issues (very dense muscle tone, neck/upper-back problems due to bad posture/ergonomics) as well as a history of acute injuries that arise from sports/fitness (whiplash from soccer, knee problems from running, legs issues from cycling). Michael is able to address both types of issues.

I have shown up for an appointment in unbearable pain and left with a great deal of relief (some injuries require more than a single visit to resolve, but the immediate relief is incredible). He's able to "fine tune" your body--evening your leg lengths, fixing fallen arches/plantar fasciitis, relieving headaches, etc.

You'll get far better results from this work than from Physical Therapy and Chiropractic. I've used just about everything and this is the only thing that gets me results that leave me pain-free and feeling like a normal human being.

One word of advice--this is not "relaxation" massage. If you are looking for a new-agey relaxing thing, this is not for you. The intensity is pretty high--beyond shiatsu and "sports"massage. If you've had deep-tissue treatments, that approaches the level of intensity.
