My home burnt and we had ADT monitoring on our burglar and fire alarm system. ADT DID NOT NOTIFY the fire department with a smoke alarm response until after the firemen were on their way. After the fire we received dozens of calls from ADT saying that there was a smoke alarm signal at the house. For days we were bothered by ADT. They got a smoke alarm signal a week after the fire and sent the fire department out to check the burnt house. Luckily the fire department didn't charge us for that visit. ADT dropped the ball. If it had been up to ADT to protect us we would have lost our pets.

Also, one of their employees had info stolen from his/her car and ADT offered Identity theft monitorying for a year. However, when I called about it they said they don't offer monitoring and failed to let me talk to a supervisor. I think the business is too big for the right hand to know what the left hand is doing. Very disappointing.
