Avoid at all costs by Rose L. at InsiderPages
I was incredibly shocked and dismayed by my experience at Adobe in general, and especially with Dr. Jane Johnson. During a physical, she did a blood panel for our cat. She called us about the results, but neglected to inform us that our cat's blood glucose level was 438 mg/dl (I am reading that number straight off the report we later received!). Note, this was a fasting blood panel, and our cat had never had a blood glucose level higher than 150 in the past(The normal range for blood glucose is 70-140 mg/dl in a cat). She also did not mention that his blood urea nitrogen was 75 mg/dl. I simply cannot believe someone who is an experienced medical professional would fail to even mention these extreme outlier results. We had no idea our cat had diabetes and she didn't even mention the possibility of it!! To me, that is negligence. We only found out just how extreme his blood values were when we requested copies of the blood test a week later. All she told us over the phone was that his blood glucose was slightly high, and she suggested our cat was probably just agitated during his visit, and that it wasn't anything to be concerned about! Due to her failure to correctly interpret the blood test results, our cat went into a diabetic coma about a week later, due to his undiagnosed diabetes and resulting ketoacidosis, and we had to rush him in for emergency treatment and extended hospitalization that cost over $2,500. Of course, Adobe did not offer to compensate us for a problem that could have been treated at considerably less expense and with a considerably better outcome if it had simply been caught during the initial screening. Our cat never ended up recovering, and died, in spite of our having been told there was nothing seriously wrong with him. I would NEVER return to Adobe under any circumstances, and I have told all the pet-owners I know (and that is
