I had Dennis, the owner, come out, he gave me an estimate. To do all of the work, hoping it would cool my house. I told him when giving me the quote, to literally "freeze me out" of my house. I was tired of having a hot house in the summer. I told him to go through my house and to give me a list of things that needed to be serviced and fixed to make my house cooler. The living room was cooler, and the bedroom was warmer and had trouble cooling in the afternoon. We were quoted $1100 to fix all of the problems. He gave me a checklist of things that could be done over time. His estimate had his service plan in it as well. He did not "Freeze me out" after having paid him $1100 and all I got was a cooler bedroom, and a warmer living room, which I paid him $1100 to move the cool air in my house from my living room to my bedroom. He did do a few good things, such as seal my return. He did a good job adding 2 returns and a duct. He snubbed me after asking him to add another duct. Also when I asked to have my coils in the addick cleaned, they told me I didn't pay for the service plan, which was in my quote. He also never told me I needed the coils inside the addick cleaned. I had another company check out my AC, and the guy went up to the actual unit and told me that the coil in there was super dirty and needed to be cleaned immediately. He took me up there and showed me the problem. I felt Dennis wasn't very specific when checking my unit up top. It makes no sense. I was overall very unhappy with most of the service.

This is a company which has serviced our Willowbend area home for a number of years. He has been satisfactory after several other HVAC guys disappointed us. Dennis the owner is a very nice person and always tried to repair equipment where possible, rather than replace. He offers a service contract which pre-pays for a years checkups, plus promises a modest parts discount and priority service over non-contract customers -- meaningful with a one man company.
At one time I got dissatisfied with him, but after talking and working with a half dozen other companies, now realize Dennis is in the top few. He's not the only good HVAC guy in town, but he's right up there.

Addicks Air & Heat has been servicing my units for more than 20 years. The owner is so friendly and down to earth. He would never try to sell you something that you don't need. He will try and patch things if at all possible to save you some extra money.
Dennis Dailey is an outstanding person. He keeps abreast of the latest happenings in the world of HVAC and passes that knowledge along to his customers.
