Horrible dance studio.
My daughter went there 4 years and learned absolutely nothing. Which is why I pulled her out and is now getting the training she needs to learn ballet. The teacher/owner has not had the proper dance training herself. Which is known by the way she teaches. It's a very unorganized studio. Recital is a mess every year. And she cries every year as if everyone should feel sorry for poor Miss Jennifer and her unorganized mess. Buying tickets for the recital is a disaster every year too. If you watch the so called advanced classes you can see these poor girls are being taught all wrong. It's so sad to watch. This is the type of training that the judges on the TV show "So you can think you can dance" would tell a dancer that tried out on the show that you should get your money back and laugh at the dancer. SAD SAD SAD I tell you.
You get what you pay for!!

Awful Place by lilly c. at InsiderPages
Ms. Jennifer's patience around recital time is awful. Also, she does not train her older dancers to the best of her ability. She is not a very helpful teacher and the reason why so many girls quit her studio.

Outstanding teaching and beautiful facility!
I just stopped by to write a small review about how great Adagio dance is. Normally I don't get involved in people's business, but I have to address the review posted by "momofstar". I have had my daughter at Adagio dance for 5 years now and she absolutely adores the instructor Miss Jennifer. I am what could be called an "over protective father", and trust me, if there were any yelling and berating of any kind my daughter would be gone in an instant. There is nothing of the sort. Miss Jennifer is a kind, loving and caring teacher who has a genuine care for her students and desire for them to succeed. I have a feeling that "momofstar" either had a daughter who wasn't as good as she and her daughter would like to believe, or "momofstar" is actually said child masquerading as an angry parent. Let's be honest, who is going to give that comment any validity when the commenter cannot even spell "fortunately" properly, does not know the difference between "their" and "there" and clearly has no grasp for even the most rudimentary aspects of grammar and punctuation. That review was clearly posted by a child, or a moron....or both. Adagio Dance is spectacular, just ask the other 400+ students and parents who are completely happy!

happy parent
Isn't it interesting that people will be bold enough to crucify a business that someone has put their heart and sole into to be the best they can be, but too chicken to reveal their identity????? Maybe you should be more interested in being a positive role model for your child instead of allowing them to see, and I'm sure, hear you, tear up others. Adagio dance is a very positive studio. I should know, my daughter has been to some REAL awful ones. She is getting better training here than anywhere she has ever been. Because she isn't an outstanding student, she was always put in back and told she would "get it" . She didn't, and no one tried to help her. Unlike this chicken in the previous letter, I do not wish to name names. But, my experience has been, that if your child is not a prodigy, don't expect them to learn anything. At Adagio, my daughter is finally improving. She has been there for 2 years, and her last recital showed amazing progress. Miss Jennifer takes extra care to make sure every child "gets it". She teaches technique, which seems to be a foreign word at most studios. Who ever you are, you shouldn't condemn other people for their emotions. You would cry too if you lost the most important person in your life. I hope you go to another studio, she'll find out how much attention and training her daughter was really getting!!!!
