I have been very happy with Ackerman's. They tell me what needs to be done, what could be done, and what is not really necessary. I have an ancient Volvo, and they have kept it running for the past 10 years, for less money than I spent on my previous car in under 3. Not saying they are cheap, but I don't feel like I have to question every recommendation they make or get a second opinion.

They charged an arm and a leg and i had to bring my car back the next day!

I'm a relative newcomer to the world of Volvos, and finding a good mechanic for my 850 was important. I've been going to Ackerman's for almost 2 years, and I couldn't imagine a better place to get my car serviced.

Bruce Ackerman and staff are knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with...something that can be rare when dealing with car shops.
