Some of the doctors there are money grubbers. They're just like the dentists that tell you need a filling when you don't, they just want to make the $. I spent thousands here stopped in and knew the staff well, they still tried to stick me with unnecessary procedures that could actually make my dog sick!! She is very old and no longer needs booster shots! But when I needed the exemption letter for the kennel we are putting her in for our vacation the doctor working that day refused, saying that yes even if the other vet said she didn't need them he believes she does so he wanted us to bring her in the update her vaccination shots 120.00 worth. Look up vaccinating old dogs online and you will find out that it is actually more dangerous than healthy.

So....... we had less the 24 hours to do this, so I called ADOBE PET CLINIC in Los Altos, who fully agreed with us and quickly faxed us the letter even though they were super busy. YAY Adobe OUR NEW PET CLINIC!!!!

They over charge there clients, they really do not care about the animals if has to do with money. I cant belive how they treated my poor lil kitten. The front desk clerk i very rude and fake...It is so sad. Is the doc sleeping with the clerk?

I have brought all my dogs and cats to Dr. Jones as well as referred several friends. Acadia Vet Clinic is very professional, caring and thorough. They truly have your pets best interests in mind and are not there to charge you an arm and a leg.

PROS: Very knowledgable, service oriented, friendly staff
CONS: A just have to drive a bit of a distance, but they are worth it

Acadia is a top-notch veterinary clinic. They treat your pets as if they were human. I have been there for more than just routine care. I have had tragic emergencies and my pets have always received the best care. Dr Donald Jones uses the latest technology and is up to date on all current medical techniques & care.

I took my dogs here for geriatric exams. They were quite expensive, but seemed thorough. I was given something for my dogs allergy. It was quite expensive, when I looked at the pills, they looked like the Tavist that I take. I mentioned this and declined the expensive prescription as I could just buy some at Longs and break it in half like they did. So I felt they tried to rip me off.

PROS: Interesting newsletter sent to patients.
CONS: Small parking lot, out of way location, Expensive, attempted rip off.
