In a Hurry? by Joe O. at InsiderPages
I am very disappointed in the practice. When I first went to Dr. Applewhite, she examined my rash for all of 5 seconds and prescribed an antihistamine. a week later, it got worse. Another Co-pay and another prescription without looking more than a few seconds.
5 visit$ later, 5 different medicine$, and one $kin $ample sent to the lab--and my rash was all over my body. It wasn't scabies, but she treated me for that, too.
What was it? Food allergies. It never occurred to her, but it was the first thing that crossed the mind of the ER doctor at EJGH when I called. Just take a Benadryl and then get allergy tested. That anonymous doctor saved my life, and Dr. Applewhite wasted hundreds of my dollars for nothing.
If you go to their clinic, keep your eyes open and demand a THOROUGH examination. don't settle for the drive-by diagnosis.
