This is a good craft supply store. I like the selection of craft kits and kits for children. It is also amazing how many toy kits that they carry. The artist, paint, and canvas selection is large. They also have good sales on seasonal items when the season has passed. As far as seasons go they have great and unusual items for Halloween, Fall and Christmas. It is a great place to get tee shirts and sweatshirts that are plain to be able to decorate. I think the yarn department is large. They do not carry fabric by the yard, but do have some quarters that are for quilting. I need to always spend about an hour just going down every aisle and just looking because they have so much available for sale.

I go here all the time to get supplies for my hobbies/crafts. It is a full service craft store. Everything from yarn to candles to stamping to scrapbooking. They have everything here. There are several locations thru out the triad area. I know there is one in Winston and one in Greensboro. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Most of the time they are even curtious!! They have weekly sales and specials and a wonderful variety of clearance items.

AC Moore offers a wide variety of supplies for all types of crafts. They have a wonderful selection of scrapbooking supplies (paper, stickers, embellishments, etc). They also have a good variety of yarn & beads. I found their prices to be quite competitive -- with many things priced a bit less than Michael's (which is right up the street from ACMoore); few a bit more. Their sale prices (at least in the area of scrapbooking) are always better than Michael's. Currently, they offer free Kid's make-and-take projects weekly. No age limit on it.

I would say that this is one of my favorite craft stores. Its clean, lots of supplies, the staff is friendly and helpful. They take Michaels craft store coupons and also put out their own coupons. You can also have them frame your pictures for you or just purchase frames off the shelf. We love the fun foam section. They have a wide variety to choose from at great prices.If you like crafts you'll like AC Moore
