I had to go to ABC Vet hospital today because the vet that I normally take my kid Willy (1/2 lab 1/2 daucson mutt) was suffering from a flea attack and or some allergies. They found time for to squeeze an appointment in when my main favorite vet for 15 years couldnt.... The staff was very friendly and really good with my dog. The treatment did seem a bit expensive but not really out of alignment with other vet bills I've had. I would take my dog here again.

Sorry I hate to give bad reviews but I have been burned by this place several times and people I have talked to also have had bad experiences. They are cold and uncaring. I had a friend who worked there a few years back and she said the staff would make comments on why do people cry over a pet, its just a pet?! Hopefully those Ladies dont work there anymore. Several times I took my cats there and each time there were misdiagnosed.

I have brought my dog into them and she was put on medication. The medication has been working great. I called for a refill and they told me she had to have the test run again in order to refill. I let them know I could not afford the test at this time (Holidays) and would do it in a couple months. They said to call them back when I get the money. They did not care that my dog was going to be off her meds. Now my dog has to suffer. Merry Christmas!‎

I am so surprised to see negative comments about ABC Vet Hospital. I do not work there or know anyone who does. I brought my Chihuahua, Sophie, into ABC for Spaying since they are part of the SNAP program low cost spaying. First I was impressed with the facility, very clean and nice looking. The staff greeted me with kindness and was very excited to see Sophie. It immediately calmed my nerves about the situation.
Kathleen in particular at the front desk was amazing, very understanding and took her time to let me know about what was in-store for my pet. She had the doctor who was performing the procedure come out and talk to me and reassure me of her abilities and benefits to some of the extras ABC offers. They were very professional on all fronts. I’d like to add that about an hour after I left, Kathleen took the time to call and let me know that Sophie was snuggling with her blanket and toy monkey that we brought with us. It totally put my mind at ease and I’m very thankful for her extra attention.
Lastly, to comment on the negative reviews, ABC Vet hospital may be perceived as money hungry to those who aren’t used to the level of care they offer. But what I don’t think people understand is that they are able to offer more options to care for your pet than a standard clinic. So By having the abilities to do ECG’s, Biopsy’s and other advanced care for your pet I can understand why they would want to use those tools in our pet’s care. Also, being in the healthcare industry I can understand the cost of these exams and the necessity of doing these exams before treating my pet. Never once did I feel pressured to give my pet the full rundown but I am sure there are owner s out there that would be happy to have those exams available for their pet. Please don’t confuse knowledge, experience, and passion for greed and I would highly recommend this vet to anyone who needs low cost initial care or choosing them as their long term vet for their loved one. Called many places asking about costs. I asked very specific questions trying to compare different vets. Was quoted the lowest by ABC BUT after the kitten exam was given a list of HIDDEN charges not explained before I went there. NOT professional! Do not go here!‎
