I would not recommend putting your dog in ABC's "Doggie Daycare". It is an outdoor daycare facility - basically a fenced yard filled with dust and dirt that gets in the dogs ears and lungs and can (and has) caused health problems. Dogs overheat very easily when they are outside all day, and ABC doesn't always have air-conditioned kennels available for the daycare dogs during busy times (they reserve indoor kennels for boarding guests). During these busy times, daycare dogs usually end up in a hot garage in wire crates during the mid day break and before they are picked up at the end of the day. It is pure luck that a dog has not died from heat exhaustion yet! Also, dogs that become ill are forced to board alone in the filthy garage in a wire crate. The facility boasts about being ABKA accredited, but rarely adhere to the strict ABKA guidelines. Accreditation is basically meaningless, since ABKA never enforces or inspects anything. The treatment of the daycare dogs is just one of the unethical ways that ABC has proven to me that money - not your pet's well-being - is top priority.

My pets are my children! The caregivers, front office, and grooming folks truly love my 3 dogs. Maggie,my oldest, has been staying with ABC for 12 years now. She's a bit frail, blind and deaf, but somehow she knows where she is and is happily energized the moment we walk in the door and everyone comes to greet us. They monitor and record every time they are fed, given treats or medicine, and even when they go potty. At one stay, Maggie (a finicky eater) wouldn't eat unless it had peanut butter on it. No one batted an eye when I told them they had to put it on her food to get her to eat. One girl sat on the floor of the run for 45 minutes, covered in peanut butter up to her elbows, until Maggie ate every bite of her food - she did not loose weight while she was there! My other two run in the door and down the hall toward the door to the kennel - without even giving me a goodbye glance. They come home and sleep for a day 'cause they had such fun.

Every customer, whether 2 or 4-legged, is treated with courtesy, respect, and like family.

Used to work here, but the employee treatment by management and an indifferent business owner is awful. Smoke breaks are a priority over walking/feeding your dogs. Dogs are frequently walked through clouds of smoke. Kennel is not properly disinfected (use of hot water alone is considered efficient!!!). The cattery goes some days without be cleaned. Cat sicknesses go undetected as the cattery is virtually ignored throughout the day. There are a few decent, caring employees there, but they aren't there all the time and there aren't enough of them for me to ever place my trust in that kennel's care. The other unfortunate fact is that there is a high turnover - all those good employees don't stay long due to verbal abuse from management and a business owner who doesn't care. Having been employed there, I know too much about its day to day operations to ever put any stock into empty claims of "ABKA accredited". It's politics as the owner used to be ABKA President. I honestly don't know if I will ever be able to trust my pets care to any kennel in the future because of this place!

My dogs absolutely love going to doggie daycare at ABC. The staff really worked hard to acclimate my dogs to the daycare. They were patient and extremely friendly. They are so tired at the end of the day that they sleep until the next time they go back for daycare.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Willing to answer any and all questions that I may have. My lab goes there at least once a week for Daycare and she can't wait to get in the door and get to playing! I highly recommend them!
