they're not dependable

they tell you you have to have your transmission out of the car to evaluate it 500$ for that then you're kind of stuck haveing them repair it. I was quoted 2700$ to rebuild the trans mission. I was able to buy a rebuild for 1200$ and have them put it in. After it was done they told me the rebuilt trans I bought was bad and woud need to come out again at a cost of another 500$ just to evaluate it. I ended up taking it to another repair shop and they fixed the electronics that Aamco messed up installing the rebuilt transmission.
