I had my RX8 done here and they did an amazing job! Jeff we very professional and explained everything that would be done. His crew was friendly and the shop looked high class! I felt very comfortable handing over my keys; these guys will work for your business! Jeff even gave me a ride while my car was being worked on! I would highly recommend A Terrific Tint and will be a repeat cusomer for life. My car looks classy and I know that they will help with any future problems. Thanks!

Looks like a lot of 5 star reviews written by the shop owner, LOL. Maybe "someone" who happened to be in the shop when I was will write a 5 star review next! LOL. Take my advice and avoid this shop like the plague!

A Terrific Tint did a crappy job on my car, then refused to refund my money. They also put a scratch in one of the plastic panels by the seatbelt, then had the nerve to tell me they could not have done it, because they "don't even get in the car to tint." I guess they do the rear windshield by magic! My tint job had little bubbles, ripples, and folds in some spots, and one spot where they tinted over a piece of dirt!

They DID offer to do the job over again, but I'm not down with letting people work on my car after they screw up the first time. I had it retinted by The Tint Pros in Huntington Beach and it was perfect. Funnily enough, the owner of A Terrific Tint told me he would redo the job HIMSELF, but when I was at Tint Pros they told me the owner does not even know how to tint! He just manages the shop. Lame. My tint job at A Terrific Tint was so bad I did not even let them remove the tint ... I paid Tint Pros $100 to do it. That pretty much tells you how I feel about the work at A Terrific Tint.

When I went to try and get my money back from the shop owner, he started visibly shaking like a little Chihuahua dog. He was scared out of his mind for no reason ... I was ticked, but I'm not that scary. Anyway he refused to give a refund, so I had to file a chargeback on my credit card. I also filed a BB Bureau complaint against him. He disputed my chargeback, then told my Credit Card company he WOULD refund my money if I sent back the "warranty" card that came with the tint. I did that (by certified mail), and of course he did not man up and send my refund. Finally my credit card company gave my money back.

I don't know, a bad tint job is one thing, but not living up to your word as a man is worse, IMO.

2. Friendly Environment -- The employees were friendly and polite, especially the owner (he's a great guy to chat with.)
3. Will Go The Extra Mile For You -- I came in with my car dirty and they didn't hesitate to wash the car (that was my favorite part!)
4. The Job -- Excellent! They really do take care of your car!
5. They Let You Know What's Going On -- I like how they carefully go over the process to let you aware.

I have had 5 of my cars tinted at Terrific Tint and always had great service. They are polite and professional. I was in the lobby when "carsandmore" was in. It appeared he had his truck tinted in the past and now wanted limo tint on the front doors. The owner politely declined to put limo on the front doors (talking about the problems it would create with vision and the police). The customer insisted on limo - the owner offered to remove the prior tint and refund the customers money (twice). The customer said he wanted limo on the front doors and if he could not get it here he would go elsewhere and the owner would be sorry. Again he was offered a refund and a removal. If he paid twice it makes no sense to me because he had a chance to get his money back. I actually have more respect for the owner standing up and not putting limo on the front doors of a vehicle despite being threatened. MQ

I had two cars tinted. On my Hyundai Elantra, the front driver side window had numerous bubbles in it when it was done, when I first pointed it out, Jeff told me that it'd go away after it dried. It didn't go away, they did replace it though. However, when my mother bought my brother's Honda Accord in, she later complained to me that Jeff treated her rudely, and was reluctant to give her the 2nd car discount that I previously emailed Jeff about before my mom went in. My mom wanted to replace my brother's limo tint with lighter tint, when it was done, the back window was not done well at all, apparently the dot matrix makes it impossible to tint, and that it was the best they could do. So my queestion is, how did the previous tint shop apply the back tint so well?

so, I'd say to find another tint shop if your car has the dot matrix.
