This is one of the best running shoe stores I've ever bought from. The staff are all runners themselves, and will watch you run, and have a conversation about your workouts before suggesting what types of shoes would be right for you.

This local running shop has been a staple for many local runners from high school cross teams to casual runners to track clubs from around the area. It's kind of hidden in the corner of the shopping center but if you know where the large Cycle Shop is in the plaza then you'll be able to find A Snails Pace Running Shop. The store itself is a good size and has all the necessary running accessories you need, including tops/shorts, power gels, socks, heart rate monitors, watches, and of course shoes. The shoe display wall has many a shoe for competitive or casual runners. Whether it's trail shoes, cross trainers, track spikes or racing flats they have a wide selection. I've bought countless pairs of shoes there dating back to my cross country days and am thankful for the help they gave me in choosing them. It's great because the staff there are determined to help you find the best fit shoe. They'll bring out a couple pairs for you to try and then you go outside and run down the plaza while they watch to see if you pronate or overpronate. They'll then help you assess the shoes and find the best one for your feet. The prices are reasonable but again the personable staff and service is great. Overall it's a great place to check out, especially if you are in need of new shoes.

I am not a serious runner, but for the amount that I do, it was time for some quality shoes. I went to this store based on a recommendation from a friend. Well worth the time! They actually watch you run in the shoes to make sure they are the best for you.
