I have an addiction. I suffer from Cha-Gio Syndrome. I drive the distance to make sure I get my fill. I think I even got some of my friends addicted to it too. While I know I could get many other Vietnamese foods... I come here solely for the eggrolls. It's not the traditional eggrolls that many people find at a lot of restaurants or to go joints. They utilize a clear wrap which gives it a more light texture. It's pretty affordable and the other products are pretty decent but eh, I could get the same quality and value somewhere closer.

There aren't many places like A-Chau in San Diego which makes this place a true and much needed staple. I just wish there were more restaurants that offer a wide range of Vietnamese on-the-go items around San Diego. People need to get rid of the idea that Viet food only consists of "Pho".

Quick tip: The parking lot is awkward and there are a lot of tight spaces. Don't be surprised if someone door dinged you.

This place is in a small little plaza with very limited parking. However, they make the best vietnamese sandwiches and egg rolls. They make the sandwiches on the spot. You can add or subtract anything that you don't want in your sandwiches. There is also a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from. I like the regular ham sandwich and also the bar b q sandwich. If you go there order the egg rolls, they are delicious. They also have pre packed desserts, spring rolls and other menu items like soups and tofu dishes. They also serve ice coffee and other delicious drinks. Check it out if you want a quick bite for lunch.

A Chau has really good egg rolls. At 45 cents each, I can get a lot for the little money I have. The roasted chicken with rice is also really good.
