i was a little worried about taking my older truck into a dealer thinking it would cost me an arm and a leg. the rod in my steering column had broken and i had a pair of channel locks on it, so i would turn the key and then push the chaneel lock to start it. they thought this was ingenous and said no one had ever brought them anything like this to start it. they were very nice and had me in my truck the next day at a reaonable price.
