Very Bad Experience
My car had hail damage from a recent hail storm in Austin, TX. I was referred to Collision Masters by Farmers Insurance and today I went to the Collision Masters to pick up my car. Now my car looks more damaged than it did before I took it in. The seats have huge spots (water stains). The windshields are not sealed, so I have air and a lot of noise coming into the car while I am driving. Also, the dashboard is all scratched, but it was not scratched before I took the car to be repaired. There was some hail damage on the passenger side of the car that was painted over to improve the look of the car. However, the paint job was done very badly. The paint had dripped down and the when it dried it stayed that way on the side of the car and now there are streak marks all over. The bumper is still all scratched and no repairs were made to it. The wires that should be covered up in the back seat are now exposed inside the car. This is especially dangerous because I have a young daughter who can be harmed by these exposed wires. The wires were not exposed before I went to the repair shop.
The adjuster that went there to give an estimate did not include the water damage in the estimate. Who is responsible for this?
My question now is who will fix the car since the Collision Masters cannot repair it? Who will pay for my rental car while my car is being repaired since my car is not driveable? Who is responsible for the water damage inside the car?
