Wow talk about overwhelming. There is a huge selection of used books here its pretty incredible. I went in and just looked around and saw a lot of really interesting ones, they are really organized by genre so it’s easy to find things but there''s so much to look at that if you don’t know what you want before you go you can get stuck there for a long time! Their cookbook selection was awesome, they had every different kind of cook book you could want which I loved looking through, it’s nice to be able to find stuff that maybe is harder to find in a regular store. The only thing about this is store that I didn’t care for is that sometimes the prices still seemed a little high considering they are used..and the library is free.

I like this place even though I haven't bought anything here. Their drama/theater/acting section is better than many of the other bookstores. You can definitely find some good plays here for cheaper than on Amazon. Definitely worth a look if ...

While I was browsing in the store, someone called to ask the man working at the store if he had some books in stock. He huffed and sighed on the phone and then said that he "would not go through her whole prospectus with her over the phone". He then hung up on her. I went to pay and asked if he had seen any books by a certain author and he said, 'not that I can remember, but I wouldn't have noticed if I had". Hopefully this guy isn't the owner, because except for him, it's a nice store.‎

The store is huge, over 40,000 books, and designed to make it easy to meander around. The staff had the right touch of leaving me alone to discover and helping me find books.

A really nice, well-rounded selection, and they get new stock in very regularly. The guys who work here can be pretty brusque, but it's well worth stopping in. Be sure to also check out Bluestocking books across the street while you're in the neighborhood.
