24 hour fitness gave me what I was looking for. A gym at a reasonable price. I got the deal where I prepaid 1 year, got 2 years free and with a gaurenteed renewal of $150 per year for all club access. I work out now at the poterero center and 2nd and folsom. What else can you ask for?

This place is nasty. To everything from the rusting equipment to the disgusting showers, it is just awful. I was a member there for about 6 months, waiting for the SportsClub/LA to open in the Four Seasons. I refused to walk into the shower. The people who belong there are a bunch of muscle head thugs. If you enjoy this kind of thing, then this place is for you.

I recently joined the 24 hour fitness in the potrero center and i was very pleased. Unlike other 24 hour fitness the staff are very porfessional and friendly. The kid's club staff at this gym actually take care of the kid's unlike the one in the ocean district. They have a bilingual staff which is very helpful. Their cleaning staff is always on the ball. If i complain about a mess they clean it up right away. The staff also help the handicap. The training staff really know what they are doing. They helped me lose 50pounds within a month. They are definatley helping me achieve my goal. So, for those who are complaining they are just lazy with no desire to workout and they have nothing better else to do.
