Today (July 8, 2007) the soap dispensers at the 24 hour location in Hayward did not have soap. The front desk said they were out of soap and an a manger was not available. This was true for Men and Women's side. Seems to me one could go buy soap at Safeway to be a temporary solution. At least a sign at the entance lthat youo whould bring youor own soap.

This does not go well with members.

Small, with ever-dwindling child-care hours, older equipment and it's incredibly crowded at peak hours. By the time the place empties out the child-care is closed. So useless if you have kids. The Bayfair location is superior in size, child-care and equipment though I have never worked up the nerve to use the pool and spa there. None of these places is clean enough for me. Case in point the menstrual blood I found on the seats of some of the weight machines at both places. Ick! Bring a towel.

This 24 Hour Fitness has a good range of equipments but I find that there are often too many people especially during the early evenings. At times, there is a short wait to use the equipments.
