1. Zumba classes w/ very motivating instructors & music make exercising a great social outlet, rather than dreaded task.
2 &3. At my age, a fall down a flight of stairs normally would mean a trip to the hospital for broken bones and long term immobility. Fortunately,the increased muscle strength and flexibility achieved from vigorous Zumba routines helped me bounce & roll down the stairs. My ankle was painfully twisted. However, I was spared immobilizing fractures. I'm still able to participate in class w/ a supportive ankle brace and ace bandage.
4&5. The Zumba classes provide a wide variety of movements to exercise multiple muscle groups for strength, flexibility and balance, providing well rounded conditioning. Plus it's FUN!!!
