My boyfriend and I live down the street and we love the diner! I cant believe the negative reviews. The service is always friendly, the food for the most part is great. I always order the chicken salad sandwich and it is amazing. Large portions so I always have half of the sandwich leftover for the next day. Although if you do carryout be warned that the fries are kinda chilled and not so good. but if you go in and order them they are great. My boyfriend gets a burger and he loves them, hes very big into his meat and he thinks they deserve an A. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone that just likes casual eating. No need to overly critique the place let me remind you all you are not on man vs food=)‎

My girlfriend and I stopped in for a bite to eat and ended up very disappointed. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and she had the 12 Street Slinger - both recommended as top dishes by our waitress. Our waitress brought the food to our table fairly quickly which was great since we were both hungry, however we were disappointed to learn hers was not fresh and my burger was overcooked. The hamburger patty was low-grade beef that didn't settle well with my stomach. My girlfriend didn't have more than several bites of her plate since she said the chili tasted old. I informed the waitress of our dissatisfaction with the Slinger and we were still charged for it. They did however take off 25% but most respectable restaurants remove the meal from the bill if there is any dissatisfaction whatsoever. I didn't mention anything about my burger as I'm not one to stir the pot and I simply wanted to leave. On the way out I asked 2 gentleman who had just finished dining as well how ...

The food in this place reminds me of my mothers home cooking. You will love the food, the price, and service. I recommend 12 street diner.‎
